Pay for research when you need it. Subscribe when you want the market watched for you.
A DeepScout is a piece of research you buy once. A subscription is a market you keep an eye on. Most founders start with the first and only need the second when they have more than one idea in play.

The parts people ask about
Written out here rather than buried in the terms.
- Do credits expire?
- It depends which kind. Credits you buy — a single DeepScout or a bundle — are yours forever and never expire. Credits included with a subscription are different: they last while you are subscribed, plus the rollover window shown in the table above, and then they lapse.
- What happens to my credits if I cancel a subscription?
- Credits you bought outright stay with your account, whatever happens to the subscription. Credits included with the subscription stay usable until the end of the period you have already paid for, plus the rollover window in the table above — nothing is taken on the day you cancel. Once that window closes they lapse, and your wallet shows it as a rollover expiry. Your wallet also shows the date, so you always know it before it happens.
- Can I get a refund?
- If a Scout fails or produces a broken report, the credit goes back to your wallet and you can tell us so we can look at the run. We do not refund a report because you disagreed with its conclusion — the conclusion, and the evidence under it, is the thing you bought.
- Does a report guarantee anything?
- No. DittoScout reports what its sources show. It cannot promise that every product on earth has been found, and it never claims a product will succeed, earn revenue, or take market share.
- Will my idea be shown to anybody?
- No. Ideas are private by default. They are never published and never used as public examples. The examples on this site are built from fixture data.
